Re: Fielding stats request....
Thank you for adding another vote for fielding stats. It helps us prioritize what will be in future releases. If there are any specific stats not already mentioned in this thread that are important to you, please let us know.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Fielding stats request....
I will add my vote to fielding stats as both an important and urgent item. I was under the impression it was close on the heels of 1.7 - my own impression. (note to self - never assume).
That said, now you do keep rudimentary and do ask the question, so with the pitch by pitch recap I can construct. One issue I see is what you ask now, say on a ground ball to SS (6-3) and the runner is safe, I have to remember how the error was made. You ask who made the error, but if it was the SS, was it error fielding or was it error throwing? If it was 1st base, I can already get that it was the catch. But, if the ball goes out of bounds and the runner advances to 2nd (I don't remember this situation and will have to test) but aren't you asking again who made the error on the runner advance and are then 2 errors being kept when there is only 1?

Consider this another vote for fielding stats. They are crucial.

Re: Fielding stats request....
Fielding stats is likely going to be our #1 priority item after the 1.70 release (which will be coming out very soon).
Thank you.

Re: Fielding stats request....
PLease add me to the list of people that would like to track and report on defensive stats. I am not sure if a list of stats has been suggested yet, so I will "nominate" a few here.
Games Played
Innings played
Total chances
Put outs
Assists
Double Plays
Errors throwing
Errors fielding
Stolen bases allowed
Runners caught stealing
Passed balls
Fielding percentage
Range factor (Calculated by taking the sum of putouts and assists multiplied by the number of innings per game divided by the number of innings played. ((PO+A)*[Innings per game])/Inn
The program is awesome and this would make it more complete.

Re: Fielding stats request....
I would like to see the ability to view fielding stats for each position a player has played, i.e. if a player is both a pitcher and 1st baseman, I would like to see his fielding stats for each of those positions, both for the game and lifetime.

Re: Fielding stats request....
Defensive stats (the 'standard' ones mentioned, plus 1st-pitch strike) would be just great. In Little League this is rather difficult to track on paper because (on most teams) players move around quite a bit. It would be great to, say, look at errors at shortstop (vs. chances) for the various kids who have played there.
I join the chorus in praise for this superb app. I have been waiting for a scoring application for iPhone since its release, and iScore has made it worth the wait. Nice work.
