Batting order

Post by Pennboy53 » Thu Jun 02, 2011 10:43 am

When a pitcher is replaced on the mound, should you also put the new pitcher's name in the respective batting slot, or wait until that slot comes up to hit before adding the batter's name?

iScore does not automatically make an offensive change if a defensive change is made or vis versa. The iScore philosophy is to score what you see, so you score the plate appearance when you see the batter comes to the plate.

you can do it however works best for you. As you are scoring MLB games, you may find it best to do at the same time. (or you can wait).. iscore keeps offensive and defensive substitutions independent. iscore uses a "score what you see model" this way you are not left guessing, is there a double switch in play or not.
