Batting order

Post by Zackalec » Sun May 29, 2011 3:21 pm

I just scored a game. My 9th and 10th batters somehow flipped their order in the 4th inning. The stats are correct in inning 1, in the 4th inning they flip order on the scorebook but not in pitch by pitch, in the 6th they somehow go back to the correct order. Pitch by pitch is correct but the scorebook has them flipping their order in the 4th inning only. How can I fix this and how does pitch by pitch have it correct but the scorebook has it incorrect.

How would the scorebook show them flipped in one inning? Are the players being subbed and appearing in the sub rows in those batting spots on the Scorecard?

The batters are not being subbed. It just happened on it's own. For apparently no reason, my 9th and 10th batter got switched on the scorebook but are perfectly fine in the play by play. The play by play is correct. The eighth box on the scorebook shows a switch at the 4th inning. The name of the 10th player appears in the box below the name of the 9th player and in the 10 box the name of the 9th player appears below the name of the 10th player. The stats are the correct stats for that batting position, not for that batter. If the names could be switched to the actual batting order then everything would be right.

That would be a substitution. You can go into game Manager, select Pitch by Pitch, scroll to the at bat where the batters are being substituted and tap the pitch. Then tap Edit next to Substitutions, and switch the players back to their correct batting posititons.

The batting positions are correct. The batting order in pitch by pitch is correct. However, the scorebook records it wrong. Only in the scorebook is there a problem. In the scorebook it shows a batter batting 9th when in pitch by pitch he is shown as 10th. It shows another batter in scorebook batting 10th while in pitch by pitch he is 9th. There is nothing to edit in pitch by pitch as it is correct. The scorebook is the only place that shows an error in batting order.

If you want to do an Options->Export and email us your customer ID to support@iscoresports.com, and include the game name / players / inning where you are seeing the issue, we can take a look. The more detail you provide in the email the better - even a link back to this forum post would be helpful to let the support folks know which issue you are referring to.
