Tweets not going out

Hi,

Love the program, but I am not able to send out Tweets at the end of the inning through the tools menu. I was able to sync my account, and it sent out the test tweet from the set up screen.

Hope someone can help.

Hi Joe - be sure Twittercast is turned on in the Options menu. Sometimes people don't realize that they have to turn on Twittercast... it is not enough to just put in your Twitter info as some people may want to only Twittercast some games and not others. So you can always turn it on/off from the Options menu.

I am having the same problem on my Android. I turn on the tweetercast and send a test tweet and it works fine. Then while scoring I send a tweet from the tools menu and a tweet does not get sent. Am I suppose to see my tweet on my website tweeter account. Because I see the test tweet but none of my game tweets.

Yes, you should see it on your Twitter site. If you go to the Options screen, is Twittercast showing as ON for your device? The test tweet can be sent out even when you do not have Twittercast enabled.

It's working now. When you tweet what info gets sent? It looks like just the score.

It sends the current score, inning, and any baserunners currently on base. At the beginning of a game, it will tweet out the link to the iScorecast if you have iScorecast enabled. At the end of the game, it will automatically tweet out the final score as well.

We will be adding more tweet options in the future as well.

We are having trouble with the twitter option also. The twittercast is set to on and the test works fine but the beginning of the game and end do not work. Using a droid to score. Thanks.

We are not sure why it would not be working if Twittercast is definitely turned ON in the Options screen.

@AaronStanford - did you have to do anything to extra to get it to start working? Or did you find anything that was not set that gochargers22 can try?
