Adding pics to Homepage
Adding pics to Homepage
I have a couple of questions:
When I try to add a pic to the background image (under Content in settings) it repeats the same pic 6x across the screen. I'd prefer one large pic instead of the duplicates. Anyone experience this problem?
Also, I see where I can change font colors, but I dont see where I select changes...i dont know the # of each color. How do you change this without guessing a 5 digit number?

Re: Adding pics to Homepage
Your uploaded image is not proportioned to fill the page width, so the program replicates it horizontally by design. sounds like you need to play with the upload image dimensions. (i have uploaded small images, aka logs, it replicates nicely across the top, i have uploaded rectangular banners and have it just fill the header area.
when you click field a color, a color picker should pop up. (If a color picker is not popping up, what browser are you using, ?(has worked for me on safari and internet explore to date)

Re: Adding pics to Homepage
Good advice, thanks! I got it much closer now.
Next I gotta figure out how to make the homepage more interesting!

Does anyone know how the Edmond Blaze did the pics of the players across the top of the page? I'd love to do something like that..OhioTex wrote:A Link to some example web pages ...

Re: Adding pics to Homepage
They used a site called "http://www.wix.com/" to create a Flash application, then embedded that Flash in their home page.
Check out the new iScore Baseball documentation page!

Re: Adding pics to Homepage
a few other forum users have reported back using wix.com to do some neat things too. fairly easy to use / learn they say. ( it is flash and for the iPad crowd it won't be visible)

I'm one of those that learned about WIX here and used it to create our site...turned out better than I could have imagined (if I do say so myself
)
Very easy to use. Downside, as OhioTex mentioned, is inability to view the homepage on iDevices. However, the rest of the site (all the iScore stuff, Games, stats, rosters, etc are still accessible/viewable).
