Post game and team reports - Defensive innings by position
Post game and team reports - Defensive innings by position
Is there a report (or could a report be added) to summarize defensive (fielding) positions played by player for a game, team, and/or league? I see the data by inning on the play-by-play report, but would like to be view the data summarized by game, for a team over many games, or using various combinations of games using the league functionality.

Re: Post game and team reports - Defensive innings by position
If you email yourself a Player Card, there is a pretty detailed table at the top of that about positions played by a player.
Check out the new iScore Baseball documentation page!
Includes videos and user manual.

Thanks. As an enhancement, would like to see it summarized on the team stats.
Re: Post game and team reports - Defensive innings by position
In addition to the optional "position report" available when you email a player card.
There are game specific "player position by inning reports" available from the admin web site ( and team subscription web site) at the end of the play-by-play view. (note this table does not exist on the device, just the web site(s).) it list players down the left column, and what position the play by inning along the right columns..
Location...admin site, game tab, play by play..scroll to end of the play-by-play description..
For an entire team or league group of games, You would have to manually aggregate .. Probably easier for a team to use player cards.. But wanted you to know the game specific tables also exist (albeit slightly off the beaten path)

Thanks. Did see the play by play record of positions played by inning recap, just hoping/wishing for a report aggregating the data for a team or a league. Appreciate the feedback.

For those following along...
The player card email 'position' gives number of starts, games and innings played by position in a nice table format...
.......... P. C. 1b. 2b. 3b. SS. LF. CF. RF. OF DH
Starts
Games
Innings
( Player card data can be filtered by league, or all for career stats )

Re: Post game and team reports - Defensive innings by position
The team position summary info (similar to how it appears at the end of play-by-play on the admin site) would be very useful to have available right in the app. Our league has rules on how many innings a player can play the same position. The question sometimes comes up whether a player has already played the maximum number of innings at a position. Since we're tracking all the substitutions anyway, it would be great to have the info right at hand.
