Player Merge
Re: Player Merge
How to get to and change a starting line up after the game ends..
Game manager> select game > pitch-by-pitch > game starts > edit
This is the lineup screen.. Add player > pick real nick Set bat=yes for real nick
Put real nick in line upshot where fake nick is,
turn bat = off for fake nick.
Done
Check for any times fake nick subbed in o make sure now shows real nick
Check stats for real nick..loook right? Fake nick look like zero?
Go to player manager and see if real nick stats look right?
you can leave fake nick or go back to line up and delete fake nick

Re: Player Merge
After I click pitch by pitch, I do not have a game starts (or maybe you're just telling me that the pitch by pitch screen opens) I also do not have a n edit button.
The game I am working with is already over
Thanks

Re: Player Merge
Blueclawdad, start in game manager, touch the game that has finished with the player error, then touch pitch by pitch, then touch the first box that says game start, change the Nick's here.

Re: Player Merge
When you select Pitch by Pitch from the Game Info screen, and the list of pitches comes up, the very first one listed is "Game Starts". Tap that, and you will have options to edit the starting lineup from there.

Re: Player Merge
Write down or remember the final out. Click "undo" and the game will be back to 2 outs in the final inning. Make the substitution, then re-enter the final play.
Re: Player Merge
Nice reminder/workaround jbeckman.. And that is great if all you need to edit is startin line up, but if you have any in game substitutions, it would be more difficult..
the standard way to edit line up and any sub substitution post game is through pitch by pitch editor..because it let's you more easily change both the initial starting line up, and also any other in game substitutions ( offensive or defensive) that may need adjusting... again, substitutions are allowed post game ... Score tracks the activity by underlying I'd, you can swap out the human name associated with the activity and event at any time, through the editor
But you can do as jbeckman suggests , if you just need to change the starting line up, but other inning substitutions would be much more dificult. If you only want to change the starting line up, in addition to remembering last out, you may want to make note of game end time before you undo... after you undo last out, you would then use " misc > show starting line up " ...and make line up change there..then rescore the last out.. After Game over, and exit. You may want to also update the game end time.
Hope this helps any others reading this post

Re: Player Merge
One last item, the fake Nick is still showing up on the stats (.000), I have exported from the iPhone, but he is still hanging around. Any suggestions?
I reviewed all the games that I have scored, and he does not exist in any lineups, nor does he exist in the player manager.
At this point its just a little cleanup, but I'd like to remove fake Nick

Re: Player Merge
You should be able to go to Team Manager, view stats, then use Recalc. This will reprocess the statistics for all games for the team including removing players who are no longer in game lineups. If you have overridden any statistics, be sure to select the option that retains your overrides.
