iPad to maxpreps

Post by rdit » Wed Mar 23, 2011 10:13 pm

On the iPad I can't find a way to transfer game stats to max. On computer it downloads a file I can go get. On iPad it just makes a new page. Help.

The iPad itself does not have a way to download and store files, so you have to use an actual computer to upload to MaxPreps.
Check out the new iScore Baseball documentation page!
Includes videos and user manual.

for others reading, who may stumble on this thread by search..

background.
on the my.iscorecentral.com "admin" web site,
if you click on games tab, and then click on team name, FTM provides you a MaxPreps formatted text file,
you download the stat.txt file to your PC and then can upload to MaxPreps using MaxPreps import features.

folks in high school ball who use maxpreps have reported it works perfect for that need/niche.

this feature is not highly documented on the web site, so thought i would clarify here.

(moderator note: merged the next post back to this forum as same idea)

We need to find a way to be able to move stats to maxpreps directly from iPad.
This is so awesome.

You might try a third-party app that allows downloads and uploads, like GoodReader or ReaddleDocs.
