I was thinking more along the lines of summary information rather than a game at a time.

The data is not currently stored in a way where it can be easily calculated on the team website. It is a time consuming operation as the code has to examine every game to determine which positions the player played during each game. It works on the player card because it is being done on your device against just the data stored on the device. We will consider more efficient ways of storing the data in the future so it can be made available on team websites as well.

I have to admit, this is one of the coolest features of this application. I have sent out only half of the cards from last season and I am already getting responses from the players and parents. Anything that can excite a player to want to continue playing (even if it is just their own "baseball card") is great.

Is there any way to get a single email with multiple individual player cards? I'd like send individual cards to parents. Ideally I'd like to get a single email to me with multiple attachments that I can send individually. Otherwise, I need to go in the app to each players card and request an email--still pretty awesome, but want to be sure ther's not an easier path.

You have to do them one at a time. We may add a feature to do them all in the future. Thank you.

Player pictures are currently only supported on iOS devices. We will likely add it to the Android version in a future release.

FTMSupport wrote:The problem with just adding the numbers up is we are showing the number of innings players appeared in particular positions. If a player played at Shortstop and Third Base in the same inning, they will get credit for an appearance at both positions for that inning, so you can not just add up the values to see total innings played.

We will add the request to our list however.

One thing we have already added for the next release is "# of Starts" at each position to go along with Games Appeared and Innings Appeared.
In Italy we use the format <CompleteInnings>.<Outs> for the innings played data. So 2.1 would be 2 complete innings and 1 out. At the end of game the total for each position must match (mod 3 obviously) the number of innings of the game.

In innings that have less than 3 outs (max runs rule) we attribute remaining outs to the player that finished the inning. So if you change the SS after 1 out, and then there is another out and the inning is over. The first SS gets 0.1, while the second gets 0.2.

That is how we handle Innings Pitched for pitchers. For Innings Appeared at a position, it is more for Youth Ball where they are trying to make sure players are getting equal playing time, so it is more about the appearance in the inning than the # of outs made. As an extreme example, a kid may come in to Right Field, see 10 batters that never make an out, and someone may come in to replace him. We still want to give him credit as Inning Appeared.

This is different than pitchers where it is important to track outs made for ERA purposes.

We will always be looking for ways to improve however, so thank you for the input.

Re: emailing player cards - Presetup

What would be nice is a way to associate players with emails. This way when we go to email a players card it could automatically default to the player's email(s). Seems like strightforward addition, just accept the email information when the player gets setup (along with the Jersey # etc)
