I am scoring MLB games. An error lead to an unearned run. I recorded the error, but the final line on the pitcher in IScore has the run listed as earned. Is there a way to manually change the line or to let the system know it was unearned.
Also, when I make substitutions, I have figured out how to replace players by position and batting order but I am doing something that forcing one of the players who was replaced to bat 10th. For now I just selected skip batter when the 10th spot comes up but why is there a 10th spot?
Thanks

Re: Question on unearned runs and substitutions
What is the situation for your earned/unearned question? There are cases where errors do not automatically negate whether a run is earned or not, and the following plays decide whether it is earned. For example, 1 out, man on first, and an error allows that runner to reach second base. If the next batter hits a home run, the run is still earned.
You CAN edit the earned vs unearned runs by going to game manager, selecting the game, selecting Pitching Stats for the right team, then tapping the R and ER columns for the pitcher and modifying them accordingly, but we would suggest you check to make sure iScore truly got it wrong. There are many times we have had scorekeepers question what iScore has done only to find out it was a misunderstanding of how earned runs are calculated.
The only way a 10th batter would appear is if you originally had 10 players with Batting = YES in the lineup, or if you go to Misc -> Show Starting Lineup and edit the lineup. Substitutions are not done through the starting lineup. We would suggest reviewing the video Tutorial Part 3 here to see the right way to do substitutions:
