How to enter box score data once game is over

Post by WCHS » Fri Mar 18, 2011 7:05 am

I was not able to attend a game and want to enter box score data only so this can be displayed. How do I do that?

Also, I arrived late for a game ( 3rd inning) and want to only update the runs for prior innings. How do you do that. Is there a overide button
to go to the innings only?

this idea has come up before
(here is one such time... viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3009" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )

The short answer. Stats Override.
one suggestion is to create a mock game with all the right players, start it, with a pitch then end it with misc end game. then view stats from game info screen, and override the stats you want. . choose NO option on recalc.

Many users have done that to simulate "historic games". Here is one example
Tony31 wrote:... I have entered our first 10 games of the season as a single game to ensure season stats are kept. I've also manually changed a game stat in two scored games. It's my understanding that I must use the recalc button, but chose the "NO" option to reset the stats properly. But if I accidentally hit "YES" I will lose my manually entered data. (ed: yes that is correct understanding) .

Where and how do u get to stats overuse.

Iscore really needs to add this as a option. Iscore also needs to have this.

If you create a game that you want to just enter statistic data for, create the rosters, then click Play to start the game. You can then use Misc->Game Over.

Go back to the Game Info screen for the game, and select the stat categories you want to edit. Just tap the fields to override with whatever values you would like. All stats are automatically updated, and will be included in cumulative statistic calculations.
