Preset fielding substitutions not always working

I've score 2 games since the update to include preset fielding substituions. Sometimes it works and others in doesn't. It appears to work when the inning ends automatically with 3 outs but not when using the Misc->End Inning option.

We scored another game tonight and it is definitely not applying the preset fielding when you have to use the Misc. End Inning option. Unfortunately, in a 8U league with run or batter limits, we do end up having to use the end inning function more frequently than we would like. Will this be corrected and updated soon?

We have found the issue with using presets when using Misc->End Inning, and have it fixed for our next update. We will post in the forum when that is submitted to Apple.

How often do you submit updates to apple?

We don't have a set schedule - if there is an emergency that effects everyone, we will generally fix that issue and submit immediately. If there is an issue that has an easy workaround or only effects a limited number of people / specific situations, we try and get more things into the release. We also like to try and get a new feature or two into each release if possible.

Great to see this update coming. I had the same issue and got around it by exiting the scoring screen then coming back into it.

The issue with the preset fielding positions and End Inning is already fixed and released. Make sure you have the latest update from the App Store.

I'm not sure what you mean about having to exit the screen though.

I do have 3.16.162 and the issue still persists. Scored a game today and every time I used Misc->End Inning the field does not get updated with the presets.

What I meant was all the kids wanted to know what their positions were for the next inning and I couldn't tell them because the field graphic wouldn't update with our half of the inning. Only after I hit the Exit button on the scoring screen, left the game, then came back to the scoring screen was the field updated with our defensive positions.
