Team stats shows an extra player not on roster...

Post by tonytrup » Tue Mar 15, 2011 9:01 pm

I have been using iScore for two years now. I have just run across a strange problem.

My team for this season now has played 2 full games. After finishing entering the second game I went to look at the team stats.

The team stats that i get from "Team manager" shows a player "Kyle K" (#56) that is not on my team. I do have a Kyle K that is number 11. The data shows this Kyle K as playing in 3 games. Yet we have only played two games.

Interestingly, we did play against team with a "Kyle K" (#56) on it in our first game.

The individual game stats show everything regarding my team stats 100% perfect. All my team data in the two individual games in team batting, fielding and pitching with Kyle K #11 only.

Is there something I can do to solve this problem short of reentering everything again?

thanks!

It sounds like maybe the wrong Kyle K was chosen for one (or both) of the teams. We would suggest you first go to Player Manager and change one of the Kyle K's names to something to make it unique. Next, go into Game Manager, and select each of the 2 games. Select Pitch by Pitch, tap the "Game Starts" event, then click "Edit" next to Starting Lineup. Check each team and make sure the correct "Kyle K" is selected for each team (having changed one of them in the first step above, you should be able to tell the difference). If the wrong one is used, remove him, and add the correct one to the starting lineup for the team.

This is the only way this situation could have occurred as internally we use unique identifiers for each player so that you can have multiple people with the same name. The actual name for a player is meaningless to iScore when calculating statistics.

Welcome to the board. Two year user and first post, now that is restraint. :)

When you built the lineup for the first game did you copy lineup back to roster? If so that could explain the wrong Kyle K in the next games if he was inadvertently picked originally.
