Problem with ipad

Post by BaylorMOM » Tue Mar 15, 2011 12:34 pm

I am trying to add a game. It worked fine for the first 5 but now when I go to add another one, it totally kicks me out and back to my page with all my iPad icons. This happens specifically when I try to add the date to the game. Kicks me all the way out. What can I do?

Welcome to the board.

Have you updated to the latest release, 3.09.141?

There were some date issues earlier that have ben resolved.
If you are updated could you post the specific order of taps that lead to the crash?

1. click on the iscore icon

2. click on game manager

3. click add in upper right hand corner

4. click visitor <add team>

5. click home <add home>

6. click scheduled date - this is where is kicks me out to the main screen where all my apps are on my ipad

**There was one time that is did allow me to add a date, however, it defaulted back to the current date. Would not accept a date in the future

Thanks for you help!

I am knew to this, and trying to figure it all out!

Try turning your iPad off and on. Crashes are usually caused by too much memory in use - not jst by iScore but by all your programs.

BaylorMom... Sorry for the trouble.. The steps you describe are correct
I have similar set up iPad v 3.09.141 and iOS 4.2.1 and it does not crash when I do same steps.

I have two suggestions/ thoughts
Try with new teams, create a couple new test teams make sure they each have some players and that some are batting...

May try re downloading app, if you have data you need to save, option export first, then delete app, re download from apple.. See if that helps, then option import
