That old adage walks and errors mean runs is a stat that I hope iScore tracks. Does score record how many times a walk or error scores?
Thanks for a great product. Had one dad tell me that he "broadcast" a game last game on a 50" screen at a trade show and he was one of the most popular booths that afternoon.

Re: Walks and errors
We do not have a statistic that shows how many times a walk or error scores. We keep track of walks, errors, and runs, but not a correlation. Where would you see a stat like that appearing? And what would the number be? a percentage? a total? how would the statistic be derived?

Re: Walks and errors
I'd like to see this in a team stat that showed both on offense and defense what percentage of time that a player walked or got on via error eventually scored. The math would be "if player result=walk or error and player scores run, then add one to numerator and denominator, if walk or error and did not score add zero to numerator and one to denominator. I did this by hand last year (using my iscore data of course) and came up with a correlation formula that predicted if we scored 2 times as many runs via walk or error than our opponents, there was a 92% chance of winning that game. Excellent teaching tool for my boy, who pitched.
You could also make a sub-stat that showed how many times a plyer scored if they were the leadoff batter in the inning and scored via walk or error.
Thanks for the quick response and your very customer-centric approach to doing biz. Much appreciated by me and the dozen or so parents that follow my iscorecasts. By the way, this is for a high school sophomore team.
