But shouldn't it be based on innings pitched?

For example, if a pitcher gave up 1 earned run in one inning's work, that would be an ERA9 of 9.

But when I override the stats, it's giving ERA9 of 27 and ERA(6) of 18, with no innings pitched (since I can't enter number of innings pitched) with 1 earned run. With 5 earned runs, it's giving ERA9 of 135 and ERA(6) of 90. It seems that the underlying calculation is assuming 1/3 of an inning, but it should be based on the number of innings pitched (which I can't enter...)

I am unable to recreate the issue as you describe.. ...

When i test, 1 inning pitched, 1 earned run, i get era9=9 era6=6, as expected

When I am at zero or no outs with 1 earned run I get era9=27 and era6=18 (as expected)

What cell are you trying to override , from what to what?

What number of innings pitched does it show?

ok, I guess that's a clarification - if 0 innings pitched, then it's set to 1/3 of an inning internally for the calculation. That makes sense.

The other issue was previously described, that I can't edit the innings pitched - they are all 0, but changes don't stick. FTM said they have the fix pending.

i get the no edit on IP cell. that is a good find.

I thought you were editing something else to adjust the era.. and except for runs was not sure what it was .

So yes the ERA and ER9 calcs seem to be acting as expected.
