problems
leaving roster or subs back to game keep getting kicked out. have to reenter. does come back to correct spot in game but annoying. also when stop clock and do a sub and go back to game clock starts on its own. also even when i get the right order for who fouled who the fouls most of the time don't show up. was doing practice game watching college ball and only one foul for each team registered. game was recorded so paused to try to get data entered so it would register but wouldn't had to go in to adjust which if was live game would suck trying to work out bugs before I actually use it in game. was using another program, but only reason left that was because hard to edit teams and rosters. but was much more game friendly.

Re: problems
Are you using the most recent version? We had some crashing issues like you are describing a couple versions ago, but thought we had them all fixed. What version does your iScore Basketball say on the title page? We have not had any troubles with fouls --- what are the sequence of steps you are using to enter the fouls?
One thing you may also want to try is fully powering down and powering your device back on. There are sometimes issues with the iPhone OS where memory is consumed either by applications running in the background, or memory leaks, and this can cause unexpected issues as well.

Re: problems
The clock restarting for subs is definitely something we will address. Fouls reset between periods if you have your game set up this way. Is it possible that the period is ending and the fouls are resetting? To change that setting, when you create a new game, be sure to set the Options for the game according to the rules of the league you are scoring.
For the crash, if you can give us specific steps that can cause the crash in a reproducible way, we will certainly fix it. We have tried the steps you describe here (in fact, the steps are used by every scorekeeper in every game), and do not get a crash. If you can help us by narrowing down specific steps, maybe we can find an issue.
Thank you.

fyi... Submitted v2.40 of iScore Basketball tonight that makes it so the Game Clock does not auto-restart after a sub.

Re: problems
I will see if I can find the update for the clock. Thanks, the team fouls would reset after the halfs. like they are supposed to. I couldn't get them to register for player or team, after the first foul for each team. in game mode when a foul would occur I tried several ways to enter a foul. first is I would tap the player it was called on, then hit foul. which brought me to the foul page but the player i hit was under the who got fouled not the fouler. so i'd back out and enter a player who got fouled hit foul go to the next page enter the fouler then hit done. it would take me back to the game but fouls didn't register for player or team. so am I entering this wrong. is there a simple way to enter the player who commited the foul.
for the crashing part because I was watching a recorded game I didn't have full lineups for the teams so as subs came in to the game I would go to lineup for that team add player, i deleted the game so i would have to try another game but I think it was either after I added the player in the lineup and hit done it would kick me out to main screen. or after I hit done then go to subs, change players and hit done it would kick me out to main screen. also try accidently hitting done twice before it goes maybe I double clicked not sure sorry.

Re: problems
Welcome to the board.
To input a foul you touch
the player who was fouled
then the player who committed foul
type of foul, i.e. holding/blocking
touch done.
If you don't touch all three data points the foul won't register.
To sub
Touch the sub tab at bottom of Ipad
uncheck all the players coming out
check all the players coming in
Touch done
I had a similar learning curve as you are experiencing, I thought touching the person who made the foul was correct but logically FTM has it right. Touch who has the ball first then the violator. After a couple of practice games scoring flows well. I am scoring a High School girls and boys games and have no issue keeping up using Iscore. However for the other team I only have one player on the roster because I am not as interested in keeping their stats.

Re: problems
on the fouls do you hit both players before you hit foul? as far as type of foul would it make a difference if I was taping other instead of one of the other choices before touching done.
as for the subs I was doing that right the subs would take it was just kicking me out to main menu for some reason. Thanks
