iPad overheat warning

Post by Dweeb Dad » Sat Jan 15, 2011 5:22 pm

I experienced an overheat of my iPad today for the first time.

Would it be possible to present a warning message prior to the iPad shutting down so that preventative measures could be taken and/or data saved?

Thanks again for the great program!

iPad overheating is completely out of our control --- it is a hardware issue, and something we hope Apple can address. You should not lose any data if it happens though as data is saved any time you enter it.

I see.

I was thinking that you could tap into the temp. sensor signal for your own use.

Thanks for the reply.
