PlayByPlay Replacement

I know PlayByPlay is not a FasterThanMonkeys app, but it appears that the developer who created it has dropped support for it.

It would be great if FTM could pick that up or create a new one. The PlayByPlay app needed an enhancement to show the pitcher, but was otherwise a great, simple app for parents to track games. Last June, I combined iScore with PlayByPlay and Ustream, and I had a pretty nice homebrew gamecast for grandparents and parents on the road. I ran iScore on my iPad and Ustream on my iPhone which I hung on the fence behind homeplate.

Would be great to have a PlayByPlay app again before the spring!

The iScorecast capability actually includes an HTML version that will automatically be used for users that do not have Flash installed. iPhone and other smartphone users (Android devices for example) can use the same iScorecast URL that has been used on computers, and they will get an HTML version of the Play by Play listing that shows even more than the PlayByPlay application does (including support for player images if you have created them on your device).
