How to embed two pages in home screen

Post by nicett » Mon Nov 08, 2010 4:17 pm

Long time user, but a rookie with the web site.

Can I embed two different pages to the home screen? How do you do that?

Not sure what you mean...

The home page is basically a free form web page, you can add as much or as little html as you like.. Experimemt with the editor and if you like post more specific question..

At top of this thread is a sticky link for example showcase sites...

You can put two IFRAMEs on the page and have each point to a different page that is hosted in other places if that is what you are trying to do.
Check out the new iScore Baseball documentation page!
Includes videos and user manual.

Coach thunder posted elsewhere on the form a tip that may help you on iframes...
CSThunderCoach wrote:<iframe src="{put you web site URL here"} height="{set height}" width="{set width}" frameborder="0"></iframe>
Here is a good page for how to create an iFrame: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_iframe.asp

Also, if you are not big on creating pages, I have recently found a free site for doing pages that is quick and easy and very flexible. Go to WIX.com to get your account. They have a lot of sample pages to get you started. Even if you don't use one of the templates it is very easy to just start with a blank page.
I spent less than 8 hours putting this site together: http://baseball.iscorecentral.com/csthunder" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I believe okc bears and edmond blaze used wix too and it has been a very creative and active site...
http://iscorebaseball.com/bears" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://iscorebaseball.com/blaze" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

One caveat for wix (and other similar site tools), that many rely on 'adobe flash' widgets .... Caution apple does not support flash on ipad/iphone. So If you use an ipad/iphone at the field and want to show off your site, it will not look the same as it does on a standard web browser PC/mac.

Thanks guys. I'm going to try to add the pages using ifram. I have never used it, but there is always a first tine.
