If you can email us directly at support@iscorecentral.com with your team website name, we can take a look to see if we can find any issues. We know that passwords work fine with IE8 in general as many people use it. This is the first time we have ever heard of passwords not working on any particular browser. We have tested all major browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome) on all major Operating Systems (Mac, Windows, Linux, and even iPad and iPhone), and it works with all of them.

One of our team parents also cannot get into password protected sections of the website using IE8. When clicking the login button in the password dialog, the password field clears and the password dialog remains on the screen. Works fine for him in Firefox.

I am curious if you are using iframes to imbed iscore team pages. That is what I am doing and where we have the problem. There doesn't seem to be an issue going directly to the iscore team website and using the password, but it goes blank as you described when entering the password within the iframe.

My point was you can have them try firefox or have them check their security settings to be like yours, i know not great, perhaps ftm will be able to trouble shoot better.m

We believe we have fixed the issue. It has to do with something Internet Explorer uses called Platform Privacy for Preferences (P3P), and we believe we have added code that will enable the sites to work in IE8 when embedded in another site.

For anyone interested, here is a link about that technology:

http://www.w3.org/P3P/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
