Entry of new pitcher incorrect on score card

Post by zbxd002 » Thu Sep 23, 2010 9:49 am

As so often happens, I forgot to substitute a new pitcher at the start of a new inning. When the inning was complete, I exited the game, went to pitch by pitch editor, and added the substitution at the first batter of that inning. The stats are correct, but the score card shows the solid purple bar AFTER the first batter, when it should be BEFORE. Is there a trick to doing this correctly?

Try doing the substitution before the batter is at the plate.

How is that done? This batter led off an inning. He swung at the first pitch and popped out. There is one entry in the pitch by pitch editor. If I make a substitution in that one entry, does it not occur prior to the pitch? Sure seems like it should. And it does as far as the stats go. It is only the placement of the purple bar in the score card where it seems to make the substitution AFTER the pop out. I'm glad the stats are right because that's more important than the score card, but it would be nice to take care of this little glitch.

We will check our logic for this to see if we can make it better. You can try changing the pitcher on the pitch prior to the batter coming to the plate and see if that helps. We have added this to our enhancement list however. Thank you.
