"back arrow" when inputting situations with two runners on

Post by skip314 » Tue Sep 21, 2010 5:47 am

On a wild pitch, for example, with two runners on, I tap on the lead runner and tap "Wild Pitch." The default is to leave the runner at his current base (which is odd--the app should assume runners advance on a wild pitch--otherwise it's not a wild pitch). If I forget to advance the runner to the next base and tap "done" it moves to the second runner. At this point, I don't have the option to advance this runner to the next base because the app thinks the base is occupied. I now realize I forgot to advance the first runner and there is no way to go back. I have to finish the sequence, then undo the whole thing and start over. If there was a "back arrow" or something on this screen, I could go back when I see my mistake and I don't have to redo the whole play. Does this make sense?

In screens where there is not an undo button, you can shake the device. This will pop up a cancel request. Press yes to cancel and start over.

A back button would be nice though!

Ahhh. That helps. Not ideal, but definitely better. Thanks!
