In the Team Web Sites, I understand that the players shown on the "Roster" Page and the "Statistics" Pages, are defined by the most recent Team Roster in Team Manager on the handheld. This way former players, trades, or pick up players are excluded. from current team stats (I like this logic).
however, was wondering if that same filter logic should be applied to the "Stats" link on the "Game" Page? Should it not show the players who played in that game, and stats for both teams?.
As it stands now, if you click on the 'stats' link on the 'game' page, it shows stats for only current roster players for the team web site team who played in that game. Instead I would have expected when you click on 'stats' link for a specific game, for it to list the stats for all players that played in that specific game, (even if they were a single game pick up, or left the team later), thus matching information on the 'box score' and 'score card' from the same row. What are your thoughts, is it even technically possible?
secondly, when you click on the 'stats' link on the 'game' page, it shows stats for current roster players that played in that specific game, regardless of what team they played for in that game. (glitch?). Example, we had a player traded from an opponent to our team this fall. Since the player is now on our current roster, when you click on the game where we played the opponent last summer, this players now shows up in the stat table with our other roster players in that game, making it look like they all played for same team.
Lastly, why not have stat links for both teams on the ‘game’ page.. home and away or ours & their column headings? (The stats for the opponents could be static and not enable drill down if that helps reduce complexity )
thanks in advance for your review and consideration. ..

Re: Team Web Site Handling of Non Roster Player in Game Stats
We will see what we can do about having games show the players that played for the team in a specific game when viewing the stats for a game (as opposed to only showing players currently in the roster). There are some things we will need to work out (what to do about deleted players, possibly other issues), but it should be possible.
Your issue with a player being on a different team that you played against and now being on your team is an interesting one. We will also see what we can do to handle that situation better.
We will likely not be making the stats page show the stats for the opposing team. You can view the box score and see what took place for the opposing team, but the team website is really focused on "your" team and around reporting the data for your team. You can always email the opposing player stats from the device, but it is unlikley we would start showing other team's detailed stats on the team website.

Re: Team Web Site Handling of Non Roster Player in Game Stats
Perhaps the answer is to use the HTML generated stats , which are a snap shot in time, vs pulling From the database, similar to scorecard PDF. Would Loose the drill down and sort features however..
Not sure the logic behind not including both home and away stats if in a static HTML database, you include home and away page on score card.. I can see perhaps not making dynamic,.. I know it is easily available on handheld, and by email..just lobbying for more one stop shop on team site....,
