E-mail still not responding

E-mail still not responding

I am sill having a problem with forwarding score cards, stats, etc from my iphone to my imac. Do wit: after the game is over, I go to last screen and click on the score card, send "e-mail" and then click the "statistics" and send e-mail. The pane says "donotreply@iscorecentral.com. Sometimes is works, and mostly it doesn't.

I have taken off the "junk" mail in my imac. Now what?

Before iscore2.0 I could send this stuff to "ocalhoun1@me.com" and it worked fine. With the new 2.0 I've done what you suggested and still doesn't work.

Help!

We are not clear on what you mean by "The pane says donotreply@iscorecentral.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false". Our server sends the emails as donotreply@iscorecentral.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false. You should not see that in iScore anywhere though... it would just be the return address on the emails.

We did have one customer that said he was having issues with the "Entourage" email client on his Mac --- the text was showing in white, so he could not see the text. When he opened the emails with another email client, it worked fine.

Which email client are you using?

I do not use entourage. I use the standard e-mail from my imac, i.e. Apple. And I use Safari.

How about if I do it this way: I go to "Score a Game" Then I go to "Select Game" and select the date and teams. Then I click "next" on the upper right. Then I click on the lower right on the "tools", Then I click "statistics" then click that. (Lower middle) Then I click "email" on upperk right. Then a page that has the qwerty on the lower and the middle up has a address says "donotreply@iscorecentral.com." I click "send" on the lower right and the next page says "Successful" "email sent to donotreply, etc. then I click OK. That''s it. Then it doesn't go thru the email on my imac.

Maybe I'm dense, but what do you mean that I should not see the (iscore) anywhere? Return address on the emails?

When you are sending an email (through any of the email screens), you should only be putting in YOUR email address that you want the email sent to. If you are seeing "donotreply@iscorecentral.com" as the email address being sent to, then it is sending to that email address.

If your email address is "johndoe@somewhere.com", then that is what should be typed in the edit box that comes up when you go to any of our email screens.

If you want to test whether it is iScore / the device that is having the issue, you can try putting support@fasterthanmonkeys.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false as the email address, and that will send the email to us. We can then forward it to you (at whatever email address you would like).

That will show whether it is the actual act of sending that has the issue (you must be connected to the internet when sending an email), or a setting on your ISP that is causing the email to not be accepted.

Ta DA!!! I use my my own address (ocalhoun1@me.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false) and it works fine. Your second paragraph (above) was VERY helpful. Perhaps you can mention that kind of information for "dunces" like me! Thank you so much!!
