Overriding Innings Pitched (Version 4)

Post by LBWood » Wed Mar 06, 2013 5:46 pm

I find that frequently iScore doesn't correctly calculate innings pitched because of quirky things like recording strikeouts twice. I often, in version 3, used the override feature to change the innings pitched stats. With the new version 4, IP is in bold and cannot be changed. Is Innings Pitched now a calculated field? Can it be changed indirectly somewhere else?

Yes, it is calculated. It is derived from Outs Made. If you have any issue that can be reproduced, please email the steps to support@iscoresports.com because we are not aware of any issues like you are mentioning (recording strikeouts twice).

"Outs" is an extra field that has to be added through clicking on the "Settings" button, correct?

I'll see what I can do about reproducing these anomalies, which are regular for me. Truth be told, if I knew what was causing it I'd just avoid that behaviour.

On another note, the new box scores that are generated by version 4 are really terrific. Well done.
