I have Additional Batter in my son´s junior league, during the game I register it as DH. Let my explain my problem:
Player 1 is DH, batting 1
Player 5 is 2B, batting 5
I substitue Player 5 with Player 18 batting 5, and I want player 18 to be DH and Player 1 to be 2B, when I record the change I can enter the Player 1 as 2B, but I cannot in any way to assign Player 5 the DH posting.php?mode=post&f=3&sid=e532d13d9 ... 8d3329fa4a#" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Additional Batter Rule
The rules of DH do not allow changing the position of the DH in the lineup. The DH designation has very specific rules as defined by MLB.
You can have a player in the lineup that does not have a position however, so if you want player 18 to be hitting, but not have a fielding position, that is fine. You can not make him the DH however.

Re: Additional Batter Rule
Iscore can handle that situation.
In many leagues what you describe wanting to do is use an "extra hitter". EH is more flexible than an MLB DH who may only hit for a pitcher. With EH a team may choose to bat standard 9, or any number allowed..10,11 etc all the way up to the entire roster batting, but can independetly choose what 9 to field. they bat in the same line up position but their defensive position may change, including bench sitting. In iscore you simulate the EH by just setting a player to bat =yes and then set his fielding position or leave as blank or out.
In most all stuctured leagues, the batting line up needs to stay "locked" in the same order. players don't enter and exit at different slots, ie a great hitter doesn't bat in 4 hole, then come back next inning in 8 hole.
In scoreing with iScore it helps to think about the batting and fielding positions seperately, when starting the game, think first about the batting order.. Set the players bat =yes in correct line up order, then assign fielding positions or if on bench (position =out)
when scoreing with iscore, think of your substitutions that way, independent for defense and offense. Set your starting line up and then just score / make subs based on what you see on the field.
Your example... Set starting line up
player 1 bat =yes (in 1 hole) but no field position ie an extra hitter, position =out
player 5 bat=yes, (in 5 hole) position =2b.
Later when player 1 comes in at 2b (from bench) tap 2b icon and select player 1. (this takes player 5 out on defense but leaves him batting in 5 hole)
later when 18 comes to bat, ( in 5 hole) manage the batting changes. When 5 hole comes up and player 18 comes out not player 5, tap the icon that is at the plate (player 5 since he last batted in 5 hole)., and sub in player 18, player 18 went from not playing a defensive position or batting to now batting but no defensive assignment. and player 5 is now bat= off...
When all this happens you are technically using and extra hitter not a technical DH as defined in MLB which only allows DH for pitchers. Your league may call it a DH and that is fine, but Whether or not the substitiution of 18 is legal or not is another issue and governed by your league substitution rules. Not iscore. Iscore let's you score what you see.
