Scorebook not Showing Correctly

Post by Krulli » Mon Sep 24, 2012 6:35 pm

I had problem again after updating my iPad to IO6. I started a game with more players listed (15) than actual (10) because I didn't have time to input the opposing team's roster. Usually I can go back between innings and correct without an issue. I waited too long and instead of going back to batter #1, iScore kept going down the lineup. Once I noticed, I reset the starting lineup to the actual ten players. However, iScore kept a batter on the scorecard for the #11 position. Is there a correction for this without re-scoring the whole game?

That would mean at least one pitch was entered with a batter in the 11th spot. There is no way to correct this without undoing as there is now an event in your game with a player in that lineup position.

Yes, the #11 batter actaully was the last batter to strike out the previous inning. Thanks.

this is not an iOS update issue, this is how iscore is built, and has been for many versions.

... for a number of programming reasons you have to get the "right number of batters" set before you roll to the top of the order for second at bat. the way the program is coded, as you experienced it, even if you catch it quickly. the only way to "make it right" is to undo before that last batter and fix it before lead off batter starts his second at bat. ... no easy way around it, just a very key part of iscore.
