Missing Softball Players - in Player Manager

FYI, our team parents, family, and friends are in love with iscorecast! As a coach, I love the stats and being able to track performance and improvement! Also, just found out that I can import rosters from USSSA (SWEET). Had I known this sooner it would probably have prevented the problem I'm facing.

Recently noticed a problem. Most of the time I use quick roster and typically only change the opposing team's player jersey number before a game (don't edit players name). I keep the hand-written line up cards to add names later. Going back and editing the team's rosters now and it populates games I've scored with the now correct names. However, these updated players are not showing up in the Player Manager. I've verified that all leagues are selected so I know that is not the problem. Any insight?

By default, a "quick roster" player will not appear in Player Manager (you do not want to see "Player 1" listed over and over and over). As soon as you edit the player's name, they will appear in Player Manager. Editing just a jersey number does not make them appear because a "Player" is really just a person and does not have a number. It is not until they are on a team that the player has a number (and likely a different number on each team they play for).

So as long as you have renamed players, you should see them in Player Manager. If you are not seeing them, the first thing to check is that you have the All league checked in League Manager. If not checked, check it, then go back to Player Manager and check your list.

If you are still not seeing a player, then is it possible you have deleted the player? Deleted players will still show in the Lineup for a game, but will not show in Player Manager. You can undelete deleted player by following the instructions here:

All leagues are selected for the team and players. I have done the copy line up to roster and the players are listed on the Team Manager Roster but still not in the Player Manager.

I haven't deleted any players unless doing Maintenance - Optimize deletes these players.

Any other ideas?

Doing the Optimize will actually remove any players you deleted on the device from your database.

If you can do an Options -> Export and email your customer ID (found on Options screen) to support@iscoresports.com and give us a specific example of a player that is in a lineup but not in Player Manager, we can take a look at your data.

Please select "ALL" league then look for missing player, chances are you will find him now
