You can not change a player from being Safe to Out. You can edit the stats directly however and add a note to the play saying what happened. Follow the steps at the following link to edit stats directly:

We have not heard of that happening, but if you can do an Options -> Export and email your customer ID to support@iscoresports.com and tell us the game / inning / player we can take a look at your data.
