New to scorekeeping - how do I score this?

Post by OldRodKS » Wed May 16, 2012 6:27 am

In last night's game, we had a kid hit a soft grounder to the shortstop. The SS threw to first, but overthrew, so the runner continued to 2nd. The right fielder was backing up first base and threw the ball to 2nd where the runner was tagged out.

How do I score this in iScore? I showed a single and then tagged out at 2B, but it doesn't seem the right way.

*edit* more info - this is in my son's 10U league that I'm coaching. The official scorekeeper is not charging errors/WP/PB to anyone. I'm entering the game into iScore from a copy of the score sheet.

In play, single (or error), what happened to runner? second, out, tagged out, 9-6.

Thank you! I had shown it 6-9-4, but I guess the shortstop wasn't really in on that last throw :)
