    Is it possible to keep track of your team only in a game or do you have to have an opponent?

    you need an opponent, but it could just be a dummy team that you use every time.

    in order to have complete stats for your team (offensive and defensive), you need to score both teams at bats (their at bats are your teams defensive/pitching stats).
