manually editing stats

Post by Rosborn » Wed Mar 28, 2012 8:22 am

I can send myself a stat sheet nd make correction on it but except for the play by play can I edit after a game, even a week later? It's a minor thing but there are games when the catcher (softball) and pitcher are given courtsey runners or speed up rule allowing for runners.. i would like to go back a simply ad a player so it show she actually played in the game... on the batting ststs whe'll only show if she has a PA, of onb defense stats only if she played defense. Hope Im clear... i only want to give her credit for playing in the game, some coaches letter players based on how many games they play in and i didn't add her as a courtsey runner or as the speed up runner when she did play.

When a courtesy runner comes into a game, just tap the runner, tap Courtesy Runner, and tap the player that came in as the courtesy runner. They will then be given credit for the game.

Going back, can I go to "play by play" and easily edit it where it'll then show her as having played in that game? Which stat sheets will she show up on as having played? Batting, although she didn't bat but ran? Thanks

Ps, in softball does it give an option of courtesy runner or speed up runner and I guess it doesn't matter from a stat standpoint which defensive position she running for?

Correct. Subbing in a courtesy runner will not change your defensive position.

There is a courtesy runner selection while scoring a game. By using this, the player will be properly credited for their stats (stolen bases, runs scored, etc).
