easier editing of mistakes

Is there an easy way of changing the result of a play other than going back and entering everything again? To make it easy for every one you should be able to touch the play that you want changed and hit an edit button that allows you to change a hit to and error or whatever you have to adjust. If you have something that I don't know about please inform me, I see this (changing previous entered info) very un friendly, compared to the rest of the app.
