I'm sure that this topic is elsewhere on the forum but I decided to make it a new topic.
Despite the fact that I have scored 45 games this year, and many more last year on my iPhone, I hav never ScoreCasted a game. What a fool I've been!!! I have not been using the coolest feature of iScore.
On Wed. night I ScoreCasted the Blue Jays/Rays game to myself to see what it looked like. Needless to say it looked superb. I looked at it on my iPad, iPhone & desktop computer and all worked great. I then e- mailed the link to the team parents and asked them to try it. You would not believe the favorable comments that I have received. I'm not allowed now to miss a game because then they would not have the ScoreCast.
However I have a question for furure games. The sample game they looked at was already there so all they had to do was tap replay and it launched. For future games , for which the games is shown but has no details because it has not started, can they tap the game and once I start scoring it will start for them or do they have to await the actual start to tap the game?
I really think that, in some way, you should promote the iScoreCast more. Since everyone can access the iScoreCast, it is valuable to a vast amoint of people, particularily those that are not at the game, rather than just the coaches.
Next year the team web site!!!

Re: iScoreCast
Yes, they can go to the iScorecast before you begin scoring, and the game will begin as soon as you begin scoring. The "Replay" button does not appear until the game is over. Up until that point, the game is considered "live", and anyone joining to view will see the current state of the game and any new events coming in.

Re: iScoreCast
@brian_oshea .. congrats on extending your usage. iscorecast can be nice for remote update needs.
Not sure if you have any photos of your players on their player cards, if so you get their photos below the line up on the html version of the viewer.
on the iPhone/iPad you should have automatically been redirected to the html version of the viewer (non flash version, white background instead of the scoreboard) . It also works on other mobile devices.
