2 base walk

Post by fordfan485 » Tue Jun 21, 2011 5:53 pm

In the adult coed league I play in if a male is walked he gets 2 bases. I had a situation where I had the bases loaded and a male walked and since when a male gets walked the female that is behind him in the lineup gets a automatic walk This allowed 2 runs to score. On the score sheet this gives the batter only one RBI instead of two and incorrectly gives the female a RBI

I guess my idea to fix this is to put a 2 base walk in the misc menu and a no pitch walk (but not intentional) in the menu as well

Probably the quickest way to do it for now would be to enter Walk for the male, then tap runner on third, Safe, Home, Held Up, then a walk for the female.

Male batter would be one RBI off. You can correct this directly in the stats post game.

If instead of tapping safe, home, held up you tapped safe, home, advanced by batter, and then entered the walk for the female, would the male batter get the RBI?

Tried a variety of ways to get the two RBIs, and we don't give an RBI unless the batter is actually advancing on the play, so could not find a workaround that gave the two RBIs automatically.

Think I found a workaround using the advance batter. Before ball 4 on the male batter advance the runners on 2b and 3b home and 1b to 3b then score ball 4. This gives the batter 2 RBI. Still doesn't solve the no pitch walk to the female though.
