Does the droid handle this differently than the apple app?
Simple example: With a man on first, 2B has a fielding error resulting in a man on first and a man on third. When advancing the runner, do I simply select THIRD and hit advanced by batter OR do I hit advanced by batter to second and then go back and advance him to third by error. (I don't see advanced by existing error) When I tried the second method, the pitch by pitch looked funny, like it recorded the error twice.
Thanks
Runner Advancing MultipleBases On Error - Newbie
Re: Runner Advancing MultipleBases On Error - Newbie
I believe you advance the runner to third by error. If you advance to 2nd by batter on the initial play and then in a subsequent event advance by error, iscore will record two errors as you saw. If the error to third is posted on the same play as the batter to first, iscore records only one error even though you press error twice to enter.

Re: Runner Advancing MultipleBases On Error - Newbie
Thank you for the quick reply. I guess I don't understand how to move an existing runner 2 bases on two different events on the same at bat.
i.e. In the case I originally presented, proper score keeping should show the runner getting to second by being advanced by the hitter and then to third by the error.
Another example is I don't quite get how to show a runner moving to second by being advanced by the batter and to third on a throw to another base? Is there a way to stay on the runner and make the multiple selections, OR do I have to go through all the runners and come back to the one I need to make an advancement to another base based on a separate event?

Re: Runner Advancing MultipleBases On Error - Newbie
Statistically it does not matter whether the runner on first made it to second by batter or by error. It is statistically important that only one error is recorded on the initial bat though. On a base advancement on the throw, you would enter this after indicating what happened to the rest of the runners. Iscore will ask you to score what you see in order starting with the lead runner. Once you get to the batter you can then record if anything else occurred on the play that was not a direct result of the at-bat, for instance an additional base on the throw to try for another runner. That subsequent play may then lead to additional base movements either due to on the throw or errors.
