Rain Delay -- Stop & Restart game timer?

Post by dds1981 » Mon Apr 25, 2011 4:34 pm

Is there any way to stop a game for a rain delay without ending the game? If not games end up with excessive running time. Not a huge deal. Just scoring a game on TV that got stopped and has now resumed 20 mins later.

Tanks. It dAwned on me after the fact that I could have used a note to record stop time and add a 2nd note at restart or decision to postpone game. Wouldn't change the duration but would at least annotate the delay.

Another way is to end the game during the rain delay. Then when the players take the field again, you press 'undo' and the game will start where it left. One of the advantages is the timer will be accurate.

Thanks. Slick. Hadn't thought of that. My typical way of "ending" a game early is to doze off. ;)
