Cummlative stats

Post by coach1 » Fri Apr 01, 2011 10:54 am

We have played six games and all cummulative stats appear to be right except for one player. He has played in all 6 games but his cummulative and individual stats only show him playing in one game. He was entered in the roster in the same manner in all players reflected correctly.

Sounds Like perhaps an unintentional duplicate player.. or unintentionally deletion of a player

Try the following,

First - turn on "all" league (league manager > ALL ),

Second - look through player manager, and Find the suspect player.. then look around and see if he is by some chance duplicated, (scroll through the whole list and make sure not in there somewhere else with a typo)

if duplicative, simply use the merge button (bottom left in player list and follow on screen instructions to "merge")

if not, any chance in testing you inadvertently deleted him from player manager at some time?

Third - get a print of the player stats ( Player Manager > Select player > Player Card > Stats > email) so you know what games he shown playing in and what missing.

Fourth - go through all the games he was suppose to be in that is not showing on his stat cards and sub in the Visible version of the player for the invisible/deleted version of the player.

to do that, game manager> select game> pitch by pitch > game starts > edit starting line up.
Change the 'invisible/deleated version' (call him "Player old") to bat = NO. , then Add new player to line up, pick the " visible version" call him say "player new". put "Player new:, in line up spot for "player old", set player new bat = yes, (player old bat = no). go back to pitch by pitch editor and review defensive positions and substitutions, anywhere you had player old, swap for player new. Leave player old in the line up for now. (can come back and delete when sure all good)

Exit and review stats, Player Manager > Player Card > Stats
with ALL league on you will should see all the games he played in and any that may still be missing.

assuming this all works, you should then double check you have "the right version" in the Team roster in Team Manager for future games. go to team manager > select team > edit roster > delete "player wrong" and add in "Player good"

Hope this makes sense..

It does. Another parent has been scoring on his iPad same as ne. Could I data share from him and only import stats for this one player in question?

The data sharing would allow you to share complete games, but not individual player statistics. You could delete the game from your device if the other parent has scored it completely, and then use data sharing to get a copy from the other parent. You would just need to be sure to "map" the team and players from the other parent's device to the equivalent team / players on your device (it is one of the steps during the data share process).
