Run rule ends HALF inning

Post by kslogan » Tue Mar 22, 2011 9:22 pm

I'm using for Little League games where we have a 6-run rule per inning. If the HOME teams gets 6 runs before getting 3 outs, it is easy to get out of the inning by going to Misc, End Inning. However, if the VISITOR get 6 runs in the TOP half of an inning, I can't figure out how to end that HALF inning without just entering "false" outs. How should I do this?

Use Misc->End Inning. It actually ends the Half inning. Hard to come up with a term that everyone will understand "End Half Inning" sounds funny, End At Bat may not be clear... we are open to suggestions. Once people know it ends the half inning, it doesn't matter much what it is called though. Also has been this way now going into our 3rd spring season, so would hate to change it on the long time users.

Actually, I think the terminology is just fine. Misc, End Inning is the option I tried during the game, but I obviously did something wrong at the time and probably paniced. But, I walked throught those steps tonight in a simulated game and it worked just fine (as you described). Thanks for the quick reply.
