CS 2-E4 ?
Re: CS 2-E4 ?
I would touch the runner on 1st, tap 2nd at the top, tap error, who? 4. Shows on the score card as E4, if you want you can make a note at that play for error on steal.
Re: CS 2-E4 ?
danmcc, I think the issue is because the runner should be charged with a caught stealing as per MLB rule 10.07f.
I can't think of any way to get this correct currently.(f) When in the scorer's judgment a runner attempting to steal is safe because of a muffed throw, the official scorer shall not credit a stolen base. The official scorer shall credit an assist to the fielder who made the throw, charge an error to the fielder who muffed the throw and charge the runner with "caught stealing."

Re: CS 2-E4 ?
You are right, this is the problem. In our league (Germany) we have also this rule and I'm searching for a solution to score the CS. Until we find a solution (or an update) I will use the "error-solution" mentioned before.PetroGuy wrote:danmcc, I think the issue is because the runner should be charged with a caught stealing as per MLB rule 10.07f.
Thanks a lot for your assistance.
Best regards,
Peter
Re: CS 2-E4 ?
in current version of iscore, i do not believe you can get the stats "perfect", you can assign the error (Misc > assign Error) but can not assign the failed assist, or the Safe, but Caught Stealing. To get this technically correct, would need to wait for the stat override editor..
