Defensive sub not getting game played credit

Have a several players who were defensive subs and did not hit, in a few games. However, they are not being credit with playing in the games. One player has played 4 games, yet the stats (incl. box score) credit him with only the game he had an At Bat. Is there a way to change this? I have several player who have not hit, yet played in the game and I would like to update their Games Played Stat.
