Any way to split team data?

Post by Webster42 » Thu May 06, 2010 6:49 am

I'm using iScore for the iPad to score games for a little league team. Part way through the season, the team played in a machine-pitch tournament and then went back to regular kid-pitch games.

Our coach would like to see the cumulative stats from our regular games separate from the stats from the tournament games.

In hindsight, I should have created a second version/copy of our team in iScore for our machine-pitch games. But, I didn't, and now I need to find a way to separate the data.

Is there a way to do this after the fact? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

Search the forums on how to use "leagues" to separate out your stats. Basically you would put the machine pitch games into one league and the kid-pitched games into a second league. You can also have a third league and have all the games in there, so you can get stats for each type of game or overall stats. A game can be in multiple leagues at the same time.

Not true, you did exactly right. You do want to keep the team as one, (if it really is mostly if not exactly all the same players).. don't create two teams, instead create multiple leagues. Use leagues as jcbeckman describes to seperate out machine pitch from other. . Leagues will do exactly what you want. leagues can be assigned and re assigned after the fact. So you are in great shape.

If you do not find the league tips and answer you want elsewhere in the forum,, reply back and we can walk you throuogh it..

Thanks for the pointers to the Leagues feature, it does exactly what I need.

Much appreciated!
