Silly Question
Silly Question
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but here it goes...
I am considering getting this app.
When you get home from the game can you download the game and print out a score sheet?
Can you download a page that has game and season stats?
Thank you in advance!!

Re: Silly Question
You can email a PDF scoresheet after the game to yourself. You can also email out the stats from the game or the season to yourself as HTML, CSV files or as an Excel spreadsheet. Check out http://iscore.fasterthanmonkeys.com/screenshots.jsp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for examples.

Re: Silly Question
No, there's no way to transfer files with a cable.
The program does the mailing (it does not need you to have mail set up, it connects to the FTM servers to send the mail), so as long as you have a wifi signal you can mail out.

Re: Silly Question
Ok so I am technologically challenged.
I do not have wifi at the house.
What is an FTM?
Can I just go somewhere in town that has wifi and do this??
Thanks for your help.

Re: Silly Question
Yes, you can have iScore send the email from any WiFi connection (home, place in town, Starbucks, McDonalds).
FTM is an abbreviation for the company that makes the product - Faster Than Monkeys.

Adam - buy the app if you are interested in the best baseball scoring app on the iTouch. I use it on an iTouch and it works. As and it emails out what you want very easily, without having any other email things on your itouch. jbeckman was dead on on how... good luck, and enjoy scoring a better way...

Re: Silly Question
Just to follow other very happy users, I use this on the iPhone. I email the game details to me while at the game and when I get home I review it in case I need to make any last minute changes and then mail it out to other team parents.
As far as "should you buy this app", I can tell you that for me, this app has graduated to one of the applications which have found their way to my four default launch items on the Home screen, you know, one of the four application icons at the bottom of the iPhone which is there no matter which page you turn to!!!

Re: Silly Question
This is the 2nd season that I have used this app and it is truly amazing. You can do so many things with the new updates and sort your data to see stats for just a game, a tournament or cumulative stats for the season. I also love the new features that allow me to discuss certain plays and hits after the game and then go back and edit things (like changing a single to an error). The scorebook is so detailed and people who have seen it and still do book by hand are amazed at the detail. Don't hesitate to get this app. It is soooo worth it and you will become addicted.
