Scoring Long Games

Post by BuzB » Sat Apr 10, 2010 10:53 am

I used iScore to record my second game and what a game it was--18 innings, 5 hours and 22 minutes!

I didn't have any problem entering the information, but iScore did have problems displaying all the information. The box scores at the top stop at the 17th, and it also overwrites the Runs, Hits, Error columns. I noticed during scoring I there was plenty of room across the top for the box score to grow and I could also swipe it away to the left.

When I call up the Score Card it can only display 16 innings and about half of the 17th.

Emailing myself the Scorecard, it shows all 18 innings for both teams, but on the Visitor's page, it added what should be a 19th inning, but it's labeled as "18".

I'm using version 2.51.79 and I've done a cold restart.

Thanks for a great App!

The dual 18th inning is probably because of the number of batters that inning. I've seen that in shorted games when the team bats around.

If you can export your database to us (Options->Export), and email us your customer ID (bottom left of Options menu) to support@fasterthanmonkeys.com with a brief reminder of the issue, we can take a look.

jcbeckman is correct that we will show the same inning in two columns if the batters bat through the lineup.

Just looked again, you're correct, 9 batters came to the plate. So it makes sense why the second 18th inning column is there.

I'll export my database and see what support thinks about the other display problems.

Thanks "jcbeckman"!
