Save option is automatically added a -1 BS

After I scored our game, I went to the Game info section and added a pitcher to the "Save" section. In the stats, it automatically gives the pitcher a -1 BS stat. Why is it doing that? and can I remove it. To me, that gives the appearance of a blown save. or a negative blown save. Kind of a double negative. It doesn't make sense.

If you assign a "Save Opportunity" to a pitcher, and not a "Save" then it will show as a Blown Save.
