I've been thinking about this for a while. I know that really complex plays (multiple rundowns, non-standard DPs, etc.) are difficult if not impossible for iScore to handle correctly in terms of assigning the assists and putouts. I also know we can edit these in the stats, but if it's not clear which fielders were assigned what it can be time consuming to make that edit. I thought it might be useful to have some option to get iScore to tell you what assists and putouts were assigned for any given play. You could select the play to edit in play-by-play, and in addition to listing the individual components of the play/notes/game adjustments it has some text saying who was given the putouts and assists (and how many of each, since under some circumstances a player could get multiple assists or putouts on a double/triple play). The user could use the notes to record what really happened and use those to go back and edit.
I'd certainly consider that low priority, but I thought I'd mention to see if anyone else thought that might be helpful.

Re: Complex play "assistant"
Thank you for the suggestion.
What is an example of a play where iScore does not get the assists and put outs correct?

Re: Complex play "assistant"
I didn't have one in mind (I seem to remember others discussing them and thought about how to make that easier to handle...I just happened to remember when I was at my computer for a change) but I did put one together.
Runner on 3rd. Batter hits a slow roller to the pitcher. P goes to first for the out. Runner on 3rd breaks for the plate, so 1B throws to C who then relays to 3B for the out. So, a 1-3-2-5 DP. By default, C and 3B get the outs and P, 1B, and C get the assists (instead of assists for the P and C, putout for 3B, and one of each for 1B). I guess multiple rundown double plays would fall into that, too.
Of course, I may have entered it wrong. (Out, Ground Out, 1-3-2-5, What happened? Out, third, double play).
Again, these kind of events don't happen very often so having to manually redo things isn't that big of a deal, but in the case of a long game it would be nice to have a quick reference of where the edits need to happen without having to manually count things from the scorecard view.
