Switching Pitchers

I was wondering if someone can help me. Lately when I go to sub in a new pitcher the old pitcher is removed the new one goes in it's place and all the stats for that day are under the substitute pitcher. What can I be doing wrong?

You are changing the pitcher in the starting lineup not making a substitution. Please see the substitution section in the manual.
