Re: Viewing iscorecast on iPhone
The iScorecasts are intended for viewing on PC's. We have "twittercasting" available where you can send periodic tweets of game status, and these could be viewed on iPhones or any other mobile device.
Re: Viewing iscorecast on iPhone
I like the twittercast feature. anyway you could make a change and have it tweet the last play recorded, along with the game status it already has?
Re: Viewing iscorecast on iPhone
as posted elsewhere....
FTMSupport wrote:We have several ideas on additional "tweet options"... details of current batter, details of pitcher, previous play recap, freeform text, current box score, etc. Watch for enhancements in this area in future releases --- we just have to prioritize it with all the other requests as well. Thank you.

Love the program. Just a little point that considering that you are an iPhone and an iPad app, you should really consider an option to view this data other than flash. We all know the issues between Apple and Adobe here, but the reality is that the iPad has completely become ubiquitous for me - it is now my primary web browser. Now, when I'm on a job site, my wife can enter the game data on her iPhone, then I'll could get play-by-play updates on iScorecast.
It would make sense, since you have such a large mac contingent, to make it more user friendly to where we could see it through our iPads or iPhones.
Just my .02.

Also, the exported Excel sheet doesn't work on a Mac. I don't have a PC, so I can't convert with either Excel for Mac or Numbers.
Re: Viewing iscorecast on iPhone
You need Excel 2008 for Mac to read the Excel sheet. Or you can just use the CSV files.
Re: Viewing iscorecast on iPhone
I can confirm that the .xls file opens correctly using Excel 2008 for Mac. Also, if you want to use Numbers, you can open the Numbers app, go to the "File" menu, select "Open" and select the .csv file (ex. "statsHomeBatting.csv"). This procedure will allow you to use the stats in Numbers.Rix wrote:Also, the exported Excel sheet doesn't work on a Mac. I don't have a PC, so I can't convert with either Excel for Mac or Numbers.
Re: Viewing iscorecast on iPhone
Thanks for the advice. I did open them with Numbers, but I still am unable to open the one Excel file and I definitely DO NOT want to buy another MS product.

Re: Viewing iscorecast on iPhone
The Excel file has the exact same data as the CSV files --- just formatted for Excel. So if you are able to open the CSV files, you are getting everything except the formatting.
