Pitching stats

Post by lismike » Sat Oct 25, 2014 12:46 am

Good evening all.

I have been playing with the stats tonight and cannot seem to find the win/loss average.

I thought it may have been a boy look, but I checked in the manual.

Is there any way I can add this in?

Or is it a request for a future enhancement.

Many thanks for your help.

Does not look like developers included... Would go on the future list..

MLB looks to define it very simply ...

WPCT = Wins /(win+loss)

Interesting 2014 ranking has
Bumgarner (SF) 17th .643
Shields (Kc) 18th .636

Hi,

Many thanks, again this is where there are minor differences between Bseball and Softball.

In Softball in Australia we use the win/Loss average as Wins/(wins + losses) as an average.

Much the same in your earlier advice on apportioning an error on a muffed foul. In Softball in Australia we only apportion the error should the batter get on. It will still mean that runner can never be an earned run, but if the batter gets out, the error has been overcome.

Many thanks,

Mike
